Description

Gowun Batang(고운바탕) is a serif text typeface inspired by neat, pencil-written handwriting letterforms. Gowun means ‘neat and delicate’ in Korean and this typeface has a warm and friendly impression. Designer

Yanghee Ryu
Yanghee Ryu is an independent type designer specializing in Hangul. She released her first typeface ‘Gowun Hangul’ in 2010, and has graduated from the MA Typeface Design course at the University of Reading 2017. Her interests include multi-script type design for development of Hangul typefaces harmonized with other scripts.
